Model Residential School Education to Scheduled Caste Pupils in Kerala

There are about forty lakh scheduled caste people in Kerala. Most of them poor and daily wage workers. The socio-economic backwardness is a historically determined outcome system India. Education the only way for to get out this historical whirlwind economic deprivation, denial rights social exclusion. Government India passed Right Act 2010 it ensures “free compulsory education” all children aged 6 14. government Kerala has introduced many innovative programs provide education pupils state. “Model Residential School” owned managed by Scheduled Caste Development Department Kerala, one such successful initiatives. Model Schools take special care cater educational needs underprivileged help attain quality education. In article, investigators explore role played model residential schools development particularly solving burning issue high rate dropouts among pupils.
